About us
What is Laureles?
Laureles is a musical and theatrical project that explores tango melodrama from an open and contemporary perspective. Conceived as a flexible artistic universe, it is presented in different formats—from the intimate atmosphere of a duo to the power of a quintet—and integrates performative elements that extend the experience beyond the strictly musical.
Each version of Laureles offers a sensitive listening experience and a carefully staged performance, where music, voice, and body construct their own language.

Laureles is integrated by artists with extensive experience in different musical genres and formats, united by a common purpose: the exploration of song, stage, and musical expression.
Belén Sanabria
Belén is a singer and has a degree in Music Therapy (UBA). She’s been part of musical projects for over twenty years, joining duos and bands in genres such as jazz, bossa nova, soul, and tango, among others.
She studied singing privately with Verónica Condomí, Roxana Amed, and Melina Moguilevisky, developing a broad and personal perspective on voice and performance. She has been working as a teacher and vocal coach for over fifteen years.
As a singer, she defines herself as a investigator of voice and stage, constantly exploring song interpretation, with a special interest in nuance, expression and the creation of intimate atmospheres. She is a member of Laureles Dúo, a voice and bandoneon project.
Rodrigo Albornoz
Rodrigo is a multi-instrumentalist and bandoneon player. He has been developing his musical career for more than eighteen years, combining academic training, stage experience, and songwriting.
He studied bandoneon at the Argentine Musicians’ Syndicate and composition at the Manuel de Falla Conservatory, perfecting his skills with maestro Néstor Marconi in functional harmony applied to the bandoneon.
He has lived and worked internationally as a performer in high-end hotels, an experience that has consolidated his craft and his versatility on stage.
He is currently a member of Laureles Duo, a voice and bandoneon project where he arranges the music and plays the bandoneon.
